I’m Péter Botond, a designer currently moving rectangles at minic studio and Different Species.
With nearly 12 years of experience, my primary focus is on helping businesses from diverse industries, including hospitality, craft, arts and entertainment, to develop their unique visual identities and solutions.
Approach
In my design process, I prioritize a holistic approach that considers the bigger picture beyond just aesthetics. I aim to create designs that not only grab attention but also serve a purpose—functional, user-friendly, and aligned with the brand’s values.
Typography is my secret weapon. It’s like that stank face-inducing bassline in a track—you might not always be able to pinpoint exactly why it hits, but you feel it deep. By carefully selecting and customising, I ensure that the typography complements the overall design and creates a consistent and cohesive look.
Craftsmanship is also an essential part of my design philosophy. I believe that every design should be crafted with attention to detail, quality, and a personal touch. Because, in the end, nobody remembers the ‘good enough’ designs; we remember the ones that make us feel like someone actually gave a damn.
